CASTLE PERFORMS WELL AT SOUTH KNOX INVITATIONAL

The Castle teams performed exceptionally well at the South Knox Invitational on September 16, 2000.

The highlight of the day had to have been the Castle frosh-soph girls sweeping the frosh-soph race with a perfect score of 6. Only scoring the first three runners, Castle's Tina Barniak won the race, followed by Emi Ruble, and then Ashley Shackleford.

The Castle guys finished 2nd in their race, all running impressive times. Lewis Kivett finished 6th in a time of 16:54, Jason Lamar 8th in 17:06, Brent Martin 10th in 17:07, Adam McCuiston 12th in 17:15, and Nick Wagner 34th in 17:57. Castle lost to the Northview team by a final score of 60 to 69.

Castle freshman Jeff Scarafia finished 2nd in the frosh-soph race with a time of 18:16.

The Castle teams are preparing for their next meet at Vincennes Lincoln on the 23rd of September.
