For The last six months I have been trying to find out everything I can about overclocking. Don't forget that their are many different Variables when overclocking your CPU, but the end result is worth it(unless you fry your CPU).In other words BE CAREFUL!!!!

BE6-II and an Intel Coppermine 700mhz to 805

A buddy of mine has an Abit BE6-II, and my motherboard had a defect in it, so while I sent it back, I traded my Pentium III 700e for his Pentium III 450, until I could get my motherboard back.
I started by uping the front bus speed to 105 and changing the agp to 2/3's. Nothing. Lowered it to 101, just hoping to get 715, and again nothing. Upon further investigation, I find out he has a PC133 128mb stick of RAM, but he also had a 64 mb PC100.I ripped that sucker out and started over, with success.FSB 105 no problems,(739 mhz)FSB 110(777),no problem. But when I raised it to 115(805 mhz)It would come to a windows error message saying You Will have to reinstall windows.TCH!!!!!After I put a super fan from super-cooler in, my temperature dropped at least 10 degrees.I was finally able to get it to 805 with these fans, but after ten minutes of running 3DMARK2000, it would crash. So I set it back to 114 and ended up with 798mhz....and it has run at that speed ever since(with the case off).

RAMBUS adventure

Unfortunetly, Their will be no overclocking adventure. The Intel VC820 doesn't have any overclocking options, But hey it's Intel, shoulda figured. Have A few quirks though...it seems when the RAMBUS is being used, it gets super hot. Not for long, just a couple seconds.
