Jon's RC Airplane Hangar

Thanks for visiting my RC airplane website. Above is a photo of a Carl Goldberg Ultimate that I built several years ago. It was powered with an OS .91FX 2 stroke engine. It came out at exactly 8lbs as the plans said. It looked real nice and it was a lot of fun to build. I sold the plane to a gentleman that drove up from Wabash, IN several years ago. I remember the guy was a newbie to the RC airplane hobby. He came to my house with his instructor. Hopefully they got the plane airborne and it is still with us.

I have been involved with this hobby for over 20 years now and my passion has always been building airplane models. I have been absent from RC airplane building and flying for a little over 10 years now. I'm going to thin out the remaining RC planes that I have and some of the engines and motors. I'll do this via RC Groups under the nickname JDKelly. I hope to get back into building models sometime soon. I do miss it. If you have any questions, comments or tips, please shoot me an email. • READY TO FLY
  • Foam 3DX, funflyer foamy with a Himaxx 2015/4100 motor, 6.6:1 gearbox, CC25 esc, Kokam 3 cell lipo 1500mah
  • Foam mini 3DX with Fiego motor. Not bad, but a little underpowered.
  • Goldberg Gentle Lady glider converted to electric. With Graupner Speed 400 motor, 3.3:1 gear drive, 11x3 prop, 3 cell 1050mah li-po battery. Ready to fly with all up weight of 33 ounces. Not flown yet.
  • Scratch built (by my Dad) Outlaw delta wing electric powered fun-flyer. Ready to fly but not flown yet.
