Sig Hog Bipe

Thanks for visiting the Sig Hog Bipe page. I bought this kit used from a lady in Ohio. The kit was pretty much complete and just one top wing half had been started. I got a really good deal on the kit for $25.00. The kit went together pretty fast and it was another nice Sig kit to build. A friend came over 1 day and saw it sitting on the bench "in the bones" and wanted to buy it. I told him I'd sell it to him covered for $150.00 and he said sure if I'd install the engine and radio components for him. We agreed. I covered it in red and yellow Monokote in a reverse scheme as what I had done on my Goldberg Ultimate. I installed a 12oz fuel tank, rudder and elevator linkage and all the aileron linkage and got the plane ready for the engine and servo installation. The guy brought me over a new .61 Evolution engine and new 2.4 ghz receiver and 5 new servos. I got it ready to fly for him. It weighed in "dry" at 8lbs 2 ounces. To this date, I don't believe the plane has been flown, but I'm sure it will be soon.
