Ziroli JU87-B2 Stuka

This is my Ziroli Stuka build page. As of January 2006, the plane is probably about 1/2 finished. It's all framed and mostly sheeted. I've yet to sheet the bottom of the wing. The plane has working dive brakes, working inner and outer flaps, working landing light, 5 working bombs to drop, 2 per outer wing panel, 1 large one in center fuse. Lately, I've been working on scaling out the pilot cockpit and bombadier area. I have made seating, sidewalls, radios, etc. out of mylar sheet, tubing, l's and channels. The 4 piece canopy is totally functionable. The front windshield canopy is stationary, the pilot's canopy slides back, the center canopy is stationary with the rc radio antenna coming out the scale antenna staff and the bombadier's canopy slides back. I hope to find a siren I can use for divebombing runs, but haven't to date. I do have an engine on the shelf for this plane, a Sachs 4.2 gasser. Expected weight on this plane is 30lbs.
