G.I. Joe: Retro

The whole theory behind G.I. Joe: Retro centers on the remaining members that had survived the G.I. Joe and Cobra Empire wars.

The remaining members of Operation Codename: Retro, are (from left to right): Snake Eyes (with Timberwolf), Lowlight (standing behind Snake Eyes), Breaker, Grunt, Clutch, General Hawk (G.I. Joe General), Scarlet, Duke (First Sergeant), Gung Ho, Stalker, Roadblock and Beach Head.

I will explain the the story about how this project came about.

In the year 2011, the team of Slaughter's Marauders encounter Cobra. During their fierce battle, Cobra destroys them. In the process, Major Bludd and his team of elite Vipers (Valor verses Venom) capture SGT Slaughter and uses his DNA as the last ingredient to make a Cobra Super Soldier. Upon completion of the project, Interrogator destroys SGT Slaughter.

Thirty years has passed. Cobra has taken over the world by destroying and forcing the G.I. Joe team to disband. Upon their success, Cobra Commander decided to enslave the world's population. Needless to say, he had succeeded in his accomplishments.

With the G.I. Joe team being disbanded, it had given Cobra Commander and his army full authority to kill any surviving G.I. Joe team member that had any affiliation with it. After all the former G.I. Joe team members were slaughtered, The above mentioned went into hiding. While operating from a secluded location, they were able to conduct military operations.

As the Resistance (as they were called) grew, so did the Cobra empire. During the Resistance build-up, an unknown descendant of General Hawk saw what was going on with the world and decided to step up and appoint himself as the Resistance Commander. Thus, he brought in some old members of the original G.I. Joe team to help rebuild a new fighting force.

On Cobra Island, them Cobra Empire faces a new threat. Withing the dark labratory of Dr. Mindbender, comes a new creation that will rule Cobra and the world with an iron fist. His name is...Serpentor. In addition, Storm Shadow assists Firefly, Zartan, Copperhead and Mercer in destroying the leadership structure of Cobra.

We begin the first chapter of G.I. Joe: Retro.
