The Pillars Of Humanity (1991)

The Crucified's second album, "The Pillars Of Humanity" is a much more solid effort than their debut. The songs hold my attention a lot better and the sound here leans a little more to the thrash side of things. While speed is still the main focus here, the band mix up the tempos a little more this time around. This was another album that I identified with lyrically as a teenager, so maybe that's one of the reasons I prefer this release over the self-titled album. Rating: 4/5
