Friday 14, 2002… Tonight at the Church of Jesus Christ and Latter-day Saints, in Union City, New York Ave. Exit-16 had their first performance for an audience!!!! The occasion was a Father's Day celebration and all thanks goes to Jose who helped get the gig. They played - Moonlight, Someday, The Caffeine Song, 1st and 20, and Not Too Long. A bit shaky in the set up, Exit-16 came through for a great performance that had the crowd wild! Plus, I got to practice my groupie scream with Christine. I really can't wait for the CD!!!!!!!!!!!!! *groupie scream* Frenzel, Efrain, Tom, and Chris were all so great! I mean you could tell they are gonna get far, they have great talent and they each handled whatever stage fright they had without a sweat! The party was excellent and that was the most modern and cool church I have ever seen!!!!!! It even had an elevator! And water fountains without buttons, they like turned on when you came near! Chris got a bit pissed at the fountain though cuz whenever he'd bend over to drink it would shut off…it worked fine for me. All you have to do is smooth talk it and rub up against it suggestively…I'm getting carried away aren't I? Well, anyway, the point is, that for their first performance, Exit-16 really pulled through with no trouble and great skill.
