This CD was recorded live at
Gullivers in Smithfield, R.I. during the winter
of 1983. The recording is a compilation of an
ambient microphone and a line level direct from
the mixing consule. It was supposed to be an
audition to get a gig at the club but was
actually filling time while the bass player's
wife from Strutt had a baby.
John Guadagni played the drums.
Jon Jelleyman played the electric guitar. He sang
the lead vocals on all of the songs except Superstition.
John Spreier
played the bass. He sang the harmony vocals on
all of the songs except Superstition where
he sang the lead vocals.
Take Me to the River was written by
Al Green and Mabon Hodges. My Love is You
was written by Jon Jelleyman. Superstition
was written by Stevie Wonder. Hey Joe
was written by William Roberts. I Don't Want
to Wait In Vain was written by Bob Marley. Europa
(Earth's Cry - Heaven's Smile) was written
by Carlos Santana. Walking The Dog
written by Rufus Thomas.
