I'm a freshman in college and doing pretty well.  I've never been a straight-A student, but I try pretty hard. School just isn't the highest priority in my life. My friends and family are definitely higher. And sometimes work is too. I have two jobs right now; I am an assistant manager at Dairy Queen and a sales associate at the GAP. Yes, the GAP... I get a lot of crap for that, but I enjoy working there.

I'm taking Sociology 110, Journalism 101, and Computer Info. Systems 121. I'm really enjoying my Soc class, but the other classes are a little boring.

I love music, reading, movies, computers and my friends. Some of my favorite memories from recent years are at shows. Last year when I saw my favorite band, Saves the Day, was one of my favorite memories. In fact, I saw them twice last year and both shows were awesome. Not only was the music amazing, but the people I went with made it all the more enjoyable. Thank you Chelle, Becky, and David for sharing those experiences with me. The final time I saw Saves the Day was with my boyfriend Kevin. That was an awesome show too!

Since then my musical taste has been infected with many, many other bands and styles of music. Some of my favorite bands/artists now are: The Stereo, Fairweather, Ben Folds, Bright Eyes, Thrice, Coheed and Cambria, Taking Back Sunday, The Juliana Theory, Billy Joel, The Pasties, Further Seems Forever, Weezer, The Used, In Pieces, and the Vines. Of course those are just a few of my favorite bands.

Some of my favorite books are: The Presence by John Saul, The Perks of Being a Wallflower by Stephen Chbosky, The Chosen by Chaim Potok, The Catcher in the Rye by J.D. Salinger, A Separate Peace, by John Knowles, and As Nature Made Him: The Boy who was Raised as a Girl. I highly recommend all of those books.

Some of my favorite movies are Vanilla Sky, Life is Beautiful, Punch Drunk Love, SLC Punk, The Dark Crystal, The Labyrinth, and Run Lola Run.
