June 2005: Paricide will take June off to write and plan out our next steps of action. Can't wait to get back out there with a more well oiled musical machine.

May 27th 2005: aricide played at a band showcase at the Reverb in toronto. This show was to get contacts and reviews from labels and agents. All the bands were great and we want to give a shout out to Broadwill Avenue who put on a great show. The judges on the other hand felt we didnt have enough of an " image" because we still have no definate frontman. Then again , they were there for the good olde punk music.

May 21st 2005: Paricide took part in a battle of the bands at J's place. This show had great sound and our show went over very well. THe bands were all well prepared. Thanks to riot productions for putting that show on.

May 18th 2005: Paricide returned to London ontario to play a show at the LAST DROP. The show was documented on video and the set went over very well. Although the turn out was not as what was hoped, Everyone there had an enjoyable night of bands.

May 13th 2005:Paricide played last night at a great venue. The show at the VATIKAN in Toronto had some great bands including roll gypsy roll, THe daniel Grier band and Fractal Pattern. Thanks to the vatikan for letting us play there.

April24th 2005: Paricide played at Alexander's Bar last night in Brantford. The show pulled a nice sized crowd, and paricide headlined the show with a well performed 30 min of originals consisting of more mellow mixes as well as the harder songs. We hoped everyone enjoyed the show, and thanks for showing up.

April 1st 2005: Paricide just finished up a show last night at J's place. This show went suprisingly well. We played in the smaller, bar area downstairs and therefore we thought we would try something different. Eliminating the drums from the set, we created a much more moody performance that went over really well. Thanks to everyone who came out.

March22nd 2005: We just finished playing our first show in london, and it went over suprisingly well. Dispite the weakness of the drum kit, the sound was great and we put on a great show. It was good to see some old faces out at the show. hopefully this will open up more london shows.

Mar 20th 2005: March has been a pretty good month for shows. However the first one on the list, a last minute show, was cancelled due to lack of bands.

*The show on the 12th of march went really well. All the bands there put on a good show, including the acdc tribute band, and we were happy with the amount of people that showed up to the show, thanks to all the people that checked that show out.

*The second show we played was held on St. Patrick's day, and unfortunately the venue had to be moved do to the overwhelming number of 18 year olds that bought tickets to the 19+ show. SO, With the show being moved from a good bar, to a crappy hall, there were some technical issues, i.e. no sound system. We also had a couple of instrument problems, but the large, loud and fairly intoxicated crowd did not seem to mind. We appologize for the problems and hope you all still enjoyed the show.

Jan 18th 2005: Its been one year since our final show at the VPP in petrolia and paricide has been through quite alot since then, but is happy to still be strong and making some intense music for you. WE decided to start the year off big by playing two shows in one night. The first was at a punk battle of the bands at the CIVIC CENTER in Brantford. This show had many people in attendance overall and many of them experienced paricide for the first time, including a member of a large toronto radio station.

*The second show, was at Alexander's, a popular bar in Brantford, where we played for a smaller crowd then the first, but we played a much longer (an hour and a half) set for those lucky people. THANKS TO EVERYONE WHO ATTENDED EITHER SHOWS.

December 4th 2004: Paricide played a show on the 26th in brantford as part of the battle of the bands. The show went really well, as we unvailed our newly learned singing ability. Thanks to all the people who were there to see us, and we will know this week if we made it into the next round. so stay tuned

APRIL 21st 2004: rob has chosen to move from brantford in order to make it more difficult for us to practice as a band. after shane and casey worked for six months full time in petrolia to save up enough money to get a house for the three of us, rob decides that he doesnt like having to cook and clean for himself, and pay his third of the rent, and moves back to lambton county. remember when you first starting hanging out with us, rob, in highschool? you told us that you hated your whole group. i'm sure that if they knew how much you hated them, they wouldn't appreciate your company as much. you gotta stop being such a fake poser.

APRIL 13th 2004: paricide played a gig two weeks ago at a brantford bar called "THE LIQUID LOUNGE." this show was a softer gig as the audience was that of a more mature age. we appreciated the chance we had to play there and we pulled off an excelllent acoustic set. hopefully this will open more doors for us.

MARCH 1st,2004: PARICIDE HAS A HOUSE!! rob, casey and shane have all finally made their way up to brantford, thus completing the first major step, and change, in the direction of paricide

FEBRUARY 27, 2004: our first gig in brantford was schedualed for this day. it's was supposed to be at a bar called the graduate, but unfortunately the venue went bankrupt and had to close up shop before we got a chance to play.

JANUARY 21, 2004: The vpp show went over well on the 16th. The sound was amazing and the performence went exactly as planned, we hope all of you enjoyed it and we thank you very much for supporting us. thanks also to our good friend taylor davis, who did a kick ass job hosting the event. we are now trying to broaden our playing area to Brantford and Hamilton and hope that they are more receptive of paricide than our follwing in lambton county , thank you again

JANUARY 16, 2004: PARICIDE has rented the victoria playhouse and will be putting on a full scale concert, probably it's last in petrolia. tickets are selling for ten dollars in advance, or twelve at the door. contact a member to get your tickets before they're sold out.

JANUARY 7, 2004: an article appeared in the petrolia topic featuring the band PARICIDE. it was great advertising for our up coming gig...see above for details.

DECEMBER 19, 2003: PARICIDE played an afternoon matinee at the pumphouse in petrolia. the turn out was weak, most likely due the the last minute scheduling, but thanks to everyone who did attend the show.

JUNE 28, 2003: at highway bowl in sarnia, PARICIDE played 6 songs to a very small crowd. Which in a way was better do to some technical difficulties, but overall the day went well.

JUNE 21, 2003: we played at the snellgrove's place along side Phantom Black (check LINKS page). we'd like to thank the snellgroves for letting us play.

JUNE 14, 2003: at the dow people place in sarnia, PARICIDE took part in a benefit concert, where we played along side a great local band called Fuzeus (check LINKS page). The turn out could have been better, but the show went well.

JUNE 5, 2003: PARICIDE played at Lancerpalooza in petrolia and unleashed their new song "Vapourizer." The band felt that the song sounded rough and still needs some fine tuning, but the show was a very well organized, and all the people involved for making it possible deserve a lot of praise.

APRIL 22, 2003: shane and casey were in an automobile accident, and casey broke his collar bone. This is a setback in the band PARICIDE, yet we are glad that no one was seriously injured. best wishes are with casey to get well soon.

APRIL 11, 2003: The lucky people who participated in the thirty hour famine at lccvi were entertained by the live music of PARICIDE. extremely disappointing turnout, espeacialy because there were many people in the school at the time, but only a few chose to watch. the stage in bradshaw hall was shared with Quarter Vision, consisting of chris vaughn, keil simmons, and steve courtemanche.

FEBRUARY 27, 2003: PARICIDE played at the Victoria Playhouse in Petrolia, competing against other LccvI students in a talent competition known as the Lancer Showcase. there were three different categories, i forget which one we were in, but we didn't win. the other performers displayed well their abilities to perform other peoples' music. but we enjoyed watching STOMP featuring naomi towell, rachel denkers, and megan wilson. also the music of courtney and natalie la joie.
