I've been raising Indian Fantails since 1995. Before this I used to race homers on Long Island, NY and my Dad and Grandfather before me so I've been around pigeons all of my life. My wife and I do White Homer release service too. Without my wife Wanda (who by the way, I call "Wicked Wanda") I don't know how I would be able to take care of all the birds we have, she is a great help and loves the birds as I do.
A big thanks to Chris Keeler for making this website possible (I'm going to take her skydiving when she gets over here, and if her daddy, Frank German lets her). I would also like to thank all the people in the IFCA who has helped me, Bob Cook, Joe Olszyk, Frank German, Stan Luden, Deb Shall, Ervan Stoltzfus, Chris & Roxanne Raines, last but not least, John Nadolny and all the members of district 3 & 6, a great bunch of people. If you are a breeder in these areas and are not active in the club or not showing your birds then you are missing out on a lot of fun. Come and join us and see for yourself !
There are so many people in this club that are ready, willing and able to help you and become great friends. So, I encourage you this coming season for shows, come on and join in for the fun and excitement. I look forward to meeting you in person and seeing your birds in a show. Just maybe, (since I became a judge in training) I may pick one of your birds for Champion at one of the shows, you won't know until you show your birds ! If you don't believe it then ask Ervin Stoltzfus, who wasn't going to show his birds in Reading because he didn't think his birds were good enough and won Grand Champion !!! It's nice to win, but it's fun that we have as a group of people who all love the Indian Fantail pigeon, and we are always trying to help each other breed better birds, that's what makes it great !
