A son is born-April, 17 2003

Well, its been a while since I updated this thing, and I've got a good reason. I've been doing my best to adjust to having two children. On April 2nd, at 10:28 in the morning, Samuel Thomas Adamson was born into this world. He is wonderful and very healthy, which we are thankful for, but man, like I told one of my guitar students the other day, "It feels like I have two only children." I guess that sounds gloomy, but when Abi goes to sleep, Sam wakes up. He's got his days and nights backwards (just like his dad). And yes, I do love having a son, someone to carry on the name, a male presencein the house. I'm not usually one to get mushy, but I did tear up in the delivery room.

Tonight, my high school students will put on the musical, "The Fantasticks." Its a musical from the '50s about neighboring families and their kids falling in and out of love. Its pretty good, I am playing in the "pit" on percussion. This is my public debut as a drummer! I am not worried, rehearsals have been going well.

This saturday, Monkey Thursday will be rehearsing for a new demo, I am excited about the possibilities following its completion.

I have also agreed for my friend Duwayne (of Gypsy Heart) to produce some of my solo material. I trust his insticts, this will be a good thing. I think I will start my long overdue "Train Record" next week.
