Thanks for visiting my links pages. I'm slowly building connections to
places that are good sources of music for jazz guitarists and others with an
interest in jazz, guitar playing and midi composition. If you have a jazz
related website, especially if you're a jazz musician with some examples of
your playing onsite, please contact me about exchanging links.
I have links to a number of excellent resources for the working and
practicing jazz musician, including some Supersites with an unbelieveable
amount of rmaterial on site. Still, I'm always looking for more good sites, so

Stuff - Wes is a jazz
guitarist and Rennaissance man with a love for good food, good jazz, beautiful
women and Band-in-a-Box, not necessarily in that order! Wes' New Orleans based
site has not only his own excellent guitar playing and BiaB arrangements, but
he also has real audio soundclips from a number of excellent internet
guitarists (and me!). It doesn't end there, though...there's recipes, stories,

Blue Bamboo Music - Chris is another Louisiana guitarist with some great

is a French guitarist with a love for American Jazz. He has beautiful

Ave - is another
fine French midi guitarist from Bordeaux in the south of France. He plays
beautiful baroque dances, and has his own fingerstyle technique with walking
bass. Lots of resources at his bilingual and attractive website. Thanks, Michel

New York based guitar player with CD's for sale and his own band with a very

Mark Kleinhaut - Check
out this jazz guitarist's website and listen to some clips from his album,
"Amphora" Wow! great facility and beautiful music.
Paul Musso - A fine fingerstyle stylist from Denver. I
heard Paul play, and had to add a Link! Catch him with Laura Newman at Mead St.
Station or El Chapuletpec if you're in town.
Scott MacGregor - Scott's a jazz and fusion guitarist from
Campbell River, British Columbia! Music onsite, including some solo jazz guitar
- check him out!
Rick DelSavio
- Rick's a NYC guitarist and teacher with a
great website and some great lesson material. Go check his Coltrane Solos
and Bop cliches!
Solo Guitar.US - Arnold Wong has it all going on! Solo synth or
plain guitar. His solo synth includes bass and other instruments all at
once! Lots of sound downloads. Great looking website!

My Guitar Solo.Com Misu, the webmaster asked me to include this in his site description: "Free guitar site. The quickest method to learn scales, technique exercises, chops, improvisation tips, CAL programs, links." It's definitely all that, and very beautifully done. An excellent resource and my newest link here. If you use Cakewalk to record, you'll appreciate the useful CAL programs. You should go.
Just Jazz Guitar That fine looking magazine with all those great articles has a website, and this is it! Read about your favorite jazz guitarists, learn some new changes, get to know the master luthiers, drool over the most beautiful archtops in the world, all in the same great magazine!
Reed Kotler has software and hardware available that will
slow down a tune on CD
without changing pitch! This is an invaluable aid for beginning
intermediate and advanced musician alike and an indispensable learning tool. Go
to Reed's site to find all about it, and take time to look around. This is a
great site for jazz musicians.
Richard Daniels Music -
Music theory for the serious musician. Books and music for sale, and onsite
tips and tutorials. A great learning resource with links to others!
Dominic's Music- A great
east coast (Boston area) and mail order resource for musical instruments and
more!
Just Strings - What more can I say? As the name implies, if
it needs strings they sell them and the number of brands is staggering. Great

with an interest in learning about jazz! You'll find transcriptions, some of my own thoughts on chord and scale theory, lead

to fellow midi composers. I'm including good midi search engines, and
composition supersites where some great music of every type may be available.
The midi search engines are a great source of standards and jazz tunes for the
jazz musician. Loading a .mid file into a sequencing program will allow you to
isolate each track, speed or slow or change keys of the piece, add your own
tracks and generate musical scores and tabs...the perfect learning tool for
