Metro Sax - Piece for Saxophone with Piano
Nocturne - Piece for Cello and Guitar
The Night - Piece for Flute and Guitar
Conversation for Bassoon and Piano - A dueling duet for piano and bassoon
Legends - One of my first full band pieces; very energetic and powerful inspired by ancient Medieval lore
Fugue for Brass - One of my earlier works for brass ensemble
A Child's Dream - First fully orchestrated piece; features piano as a soloist as well as highlights from each section of the orchestra, definitely an emotional adventure
Tonal Study for Sax Quintet - An interesting piece for Sax quintet. Starts off slow moving semi-homophonically then moves in to a fun compound rhythm section...loads of fun
A Walk in the Park - This piece was written as a prelude to A Tonal Study but has a more atonal feel. This piece also is only written for a saxophone quartet.
Burn - This piece is actually my first attempt at writing Operatic monologues. This piece is a dramatic work based off a monologue in The Octoroom The Character is having nightmares after having killed a messenger bringing news of his slave's/mistress's freedom and is now being hunted down.
We Are the Brothers - As part of developing chapter identity for the Eta Sigma chapter of Kappa Kappa Psi at UCF we decided that we needed something that we could call our own. It was decided upon that a chapter song was needed. So a contest was held to come up with lyrics, a winner was chosen, and it became my task to write the music for it. So here it is, my submission for the chapter song.(if nothing else it makes for a good stand-alone piece in honor of the brotherhood.)
