SC-500
SC-500
The SC-500 is a nice little XP-70 sized gun and it is based on CPS technology.
But don't expect it to be like a weapon of the CPS-line, it only has a 1x nozzle, so its range is rather that of a XP-110 than that of CPS-1000.
This is probably the first gun of this size without any obvious flaws. When competing with XPs (i.e. 70/110), the XPs can only compete with its range when entirely pumped, while thanks to the constant pressure system the 500 keeps its range for the nearly all of its shots.
It doesn't leak, but the cap which is supposed to release water, if the gun is being overpressurized during quickfilling, allows a tiny amount of water to slowly diffuse out. This might prove annoying if you try to hide it under your coat for an extended period of time.
The SC-500 can either be filled with the QFD (quick-fill-device) or through its cap, but in the later case you won't be able to fill the reservoir entirely as it has a bit that is higher then the level of the cap (which doesn't matter if you use the QFD).
It looks much sturdier than any of the XPs (esp. the 40 and the 110 sometimes break), it has a similar design to some CPS and looks even more reliable than the 1000.
There are at least two different versions of it, the one shown on the photo and a second one with green pressure tanks and dark purple plastic.
To my mind it is the absolutely best gun of this size.
