BAD MANIFEST 'S/T' 7"
"Slashing and snarling out of North Yorkshire town Harrogate, comes Bad Manifest. Three young skate punks raised on DIE KREUZEN, VOID and BONES BRIGADE videos, who have created a unique sound of deranged, raw, outsider hardcore punk. While influences from the weirder side of early 80's US hardcore shine through, there's also a dark anarcho underbelly to this beast. Bad Manifest have clearly witnessed the intensity of UK bands of recent years like PERSPEX FLESH, MOB RULES and NO and filtered it into their adolescent skate core brains. However, the way this thing is composed makes it no re-hash. Reverb riddled vocals and chorus soaked guitars meet rolling bass lines and catchy, eclectic drum beats. And to boot there's timing changes that will confuse the pit and excite you into a pogo frenzy! Incredible step in energy and speed whilst still keeping it youth crew catchy, this tape showcases two rager tracks from the upcoming 7" on QCHQ plus a cover of the band Release (Greed). This lot channel the original spirit of youth crew that made the sub genre in hardcore punk so great: Side by Side and early Youth of Today. 8 years after an impromptu afternoon jam that resulted in their first writing and recording session, and 4 years since their last record, No Tolerance return to deliver the straight edge hardcore album the youth and young-at-heart have been waiting for. PURE DISGUST 'Chained' 7"
Washington, DC's best and brightest, Pure Disgust, returns with their second EP, Chained. Blistering hardcore punk is the name of the game here, but with the added melodic elements of UK77 to keep things catchy. Certainly, this is their strongest recorded material. What makes Pure Disgust truly exceptional, however, is the lyrical content, which channels the collective suffering and frustrations of Black America in a time of 21st Century Slavery. Despite overlapping territories and intertwined history, the punk political mind, blinders on, is devoid of any substantive critique of perhaps the most pressing issue(s) in America today, so be grateful for Pure Disgust for making you uncomfortable with your place in society and what it means for Others.
After a highly-regarded demo and debut 7" EP, QCHQ is proud to jump on this bandwagon and do a split with Katorga Works from the USA for Pure Disgust’s second 7”. This definitely reminds the listener of Teen Idles mixed with Effigies and Iron Cross, which is right up our street. The sleeve is a glue pocket with a special custom notch cut out the back.

RIVAL MOB Hardcore for Hardcore Reissue 12"
Boston modern ape hardcore done right! Since 2007, Rival Mob have brought their own take on New York Hardcore ala Wazone, Breakdown and Youth of Today, complete with dive bombs galore and catchy as hell hooks, to the worldwide hardcore scene. Members are active in an incredible amount of bands including Mind Eraser, World War 4, Give, No Tolerance, Boston Strangler, and also played in band like Mental, Righteous Jams and XfilesX to name a few.
Originally released as a 7" in 2010 on the back of their storming Raw Life 12" EP on Lockin Out Records, Hardcore for Hardcore gets a brand new deluxe look on a new format with remaster. The band have since gone on to release their Mob Justice LP on Revelation Records, and headlined hardcore fests around the world, so if you missed out the first time round, here's another chance to grab this anthem filled corker! There are two extra tracks, one on each side of the 12 inch, that originally featured on a promo tape from the recording session, including a cover of Positive Scene by Crippled Youth.
This release will be exclusive to QCHQ and no USA version will be coming out. The sleeve is a hard tip on sleeve and comes with matte card insert. Features art by Jay Bill.

Razar 'Gourmet Drum Machine', takes to the mic and has written some thoughtful lyrics ala Cappo in his heyday creating a breath of fresh air amongst a sea of cry babies and lack of insight. Feast your gaze onto a vision of nefarious colour as a poster-sized screenprinted beast unfolds and envelopes your mind, and the music starts to take you underground...
Spawned from the concrete, steel, garbage fluid and tar of New York City natives, Crazy Spirit presents not a demonstration of a series of concise ruminations on life, that seemingly impose order with beginnings and ends, but a constantly mutating chimera, the monotonous screaming of millions of parasitical beings crawling through the many layers of this urban nest they have built to enslave themselves in. These are variations on a theme by urban strigils scraping away the extraneous chatter to identify repetitive patterns and weave them together. Hear yea the booming Crisis marching of a cool death or the sarcastic melody of snakes all compered by a Paul Mahernesque hyena.
