| ALEX WILSON - Trusty Bass, Sousaphone, Vocals The lead role in the Moe High School production of Fiddler On The Roof, launched Trusty into a musical career. Alex took up the bass guitar at age 22, and played bass in the rock band known as False Images. With a change of direction in his musical career, Alex played with Paddy ODowds Musical Express, the City of Traralgon Brass Band, playing trombone, and was a foundation member of Sophisticated Swing. He also played with Jerry Lang And The Junctions and more recently the Steaming Monzas, Out of the Blue Orchestra, and the New Orleans Wonderdogs. |
When the Wonderdogs first formed, Alex concentrated on playing the double bass. Later he introduced the tuba to the band, and more recently the sousaphone. Alex now also features in many vocals with the Wonderdogs and looks after most of the band bookings
