| PAUL RICHARDSON - Old Shep Cornet, Flugelhorn After 11 years of solid musical grounding playing the cornet in a brass band, Paul made his first professional appearance at the age of 16 years. Dick Pickett's Dance Band provided Paul with some regular gigs in his early days, and he then went on to play in various clubs and pubs all over New South Wales. After a l2 year break, Paul resumed his musical career in Gippsland with the Boola Boola Band, he was a foundation member of Sophisticated Swing, played trumpet with the popular cabaret and brassy blues band, the Steaming Monzas, and now plays cornet with the New Orleans Wonderdogs. |
