Two Registration Officers from the Dacorum Register Office
have, by law, to be at an approved wedding ceremony. It
is essential that the wedding date and time are agreed
 with the Superintendent Registrar.

Only a civil, non-religious ceremony can be permitted.
Any readings, music or words which form part of the
ceremony must be secular. It is possible to elaborate on
parts of the wedding ceremony but these must be
agreed in advance.

Provisional bookings may be made up to 2 years in advance

All details of charges relating to the solemnisation of marriages will be discussed

The legal requirements which need to be followed will also be discussed.

PLEASE NOTE
No food or drink may be consumed in the marriage room,
one hour prior to the ceremony or at any time during the ceremony.
