Homewood Wolf
For those of you who are parents, you know that there is no force on earth that can keep you from making sure that your children are safe and secure in this world. Sometimes, we know that, the only thing we can do is pray that God keep them safe.
I think that is the hardest thing to leave in His hands.
Our boys are eleven and twelve years old and they are still very much untouched by this world. They are good kids who live a very wholesome life.
Leith is academically inclined and too old for his age. He seems to understand some things at an adult level and gets frustrated in his inability to speak at a level his young friends can relate to.
Jeff is a gentle giant who feels at a very deep level. He is morally outraged by any form of unfairness.
Our children were terrorized by a neighbour, who would not leave them alone. The kids were unaware that this man was a danger to them - thinking only that he was nice enough to buy them presents and take them to restaurants. He is the wolf in this painting. He painted a pretty picture for the world to see.
The day the restraining order expired he called and took the kids to dinner. I was 200 miles away. The kids told him that night that they wanted him to stay away from them. I am so very proud of them.
