Meow, meowr names are Baby and Caroline. We are purroud to be memfurs of CLAW. One of the important reasons we belong to CLAW, is that it is more than just another kitty club; it has a purpose - to teach us to be better kitties, who care about making a positive diffurence in the lives of ofur kitties, animals and hoomans too. CLAW's motto is "We Purr and Serve."

CLAW supports two no-kill animal shelters. Since one of the two shelters accepts all pets, for the sake of convenience, we will refer to all pets on this page, as "kitties." Regular animal shelters often will destroy animals that they consider "unadoptable," because they have not been adopted after a period of time, or if they are older, or special needs kitties, who may be ill or disabled, but not in any real pain or suffering.

Sometimes, the kitties are normal, loving and healthy kitties, who are just the victims of hoomans who lack education regarding neutering their pets, or possibly through hooman neglect in taking the proper care of their pets. Too often hoomans buy or adopt pets and do not realize that, in gaining a pet, they also gain a lifelong responsibility to the pet to care for it and love it. If people do not neuter their pets, this causes an ever-growing population problem, that continues to grow at an alarming rate.

One of the no-kill animal shelters that CLAW supports is the Melrose Humane Society in Melrose, Massachusetts. It's banner is located below.

Just because a kitty is older, has a disability or has not been adopted fur a certain length of time, does not mean that the kitty has no value. These kitties deserve to be treated with the same dignity and respect that efury living creature deserves. If one of miewr parents became old and sick, or one of miewr children was born with a disability, would miew terminate it's life based on those factors. We do not believe miew would consider something like that fur one second. Miew are good people. Please look into miewr hearts and see the good we know exists within miew, and help us make a diffurence in this world.

The kitties in the shelters have emotions and the same ability to love as any other kitty; and when they do love, they love greatly, and unconditionally. How many people can miew say that about? Since we are sure that miew are loving and caring hoomans, purrease show these kitties the same respect miew would want others to show to miew. When miew will grow old, don't miew want to be treated with dignity? Would mew desire anything less? The second no-kill animal shelter that CLAW supports is called Good Mews, and is a kitty-only shelter, located in Marietta, Georgia. It's banner is below.

These two shelters, and ofur no-kill shelters like them across the United States, allow the kitties who they can not place in loving homes, for whatever reason, a place to live out their lives in a loving environment. Their volunteers and workers care fur the elderly and ill animals who are not considered "adoptable," but who still are able to live and love, and receive that love back, which they so desparately need and deserve. These shelters also give medical treatment to those kitties who need it, allowing them to live out their lives in an atmosphere where they are comfortable, loved and respected.

Unfurtunately, love and respect do not pay the shelters' bills; that takes money. If miew could only find it in your hearts to adopt one of these darling kitties, or, if that is not possible, if you could make a financial contribution of any size, no matter how small, to one or both of the Shelters, you would be helping these kitties live out their lives with both honor and dignity.

WE BOTH THANK MIEW!!!

Blodeuwedd and Aranrhod were adopted from:

Arianrhod and Blodeuwedd are here to tell miew that they were lucky kitties and they got adopted. Not all kitties are so lucky though. Please, rather the buying a cat from a breeder or pet store, adopt a wonderful kitty friend for life from a shelter. Give a kitty a forever home. If you can't adopt a kitty, could you please donate to one of the above shelters or any other no-kill shelter, money, or toys or other necessities they need. Give a kitty a chance at a lifetime of Happiness!!
