LAS OLAS BOULEVARD

Meow and Hello. My name is Baby Price, and I would like to tell you about Las Olas Boulevard, in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, which is an internationally known venue of restaurants and cafes, shops, hotels, nightlife and just a place where everyone goes to enjoy themselves and have a good time. Las Olas Boulevard has become so popular that people are now calling it Fort Lauderdale's version of "South Beach", where all the beautiful people come out to play, whether by car, limo, trolly or water taxi.

During the day, people traditionally come in the afternoon to shop and then enjoy lunch, dining al fresco, at one of the many sidewalk cafes or go visit the Museum of Art. In the evening, the beautiful people step out to dine in one of the many fine restaurants that grace this Boulevard, and then head to a club, like O'Hara's Pub, where they can listen to some "hot" jazz.

Las Olas Boulevard also runs from downtown Fort Lauderdale directly to the beach. Almost every weekend seems to have an event such an art show or festival on Las Olas. Perhaps the most important thing that people go to Las Olas Boulevard for is to people watch. They say it is a fine art. Why not come and visit Las Olas Boulevard in Fort Lauderdale, and join them.
