While Baby is a rather large kitty, I am not, I am a long, skinny kitty with my ribs sticking out. I am also very athletic. Why did I join this group you might ask? Well, if my Wed-wink, Baby, is trying to lose weight, he needs a strong support system, and that includes at home as well as in this group. Therefore, I will fight the battle of the bulge with Baby, together, the way a true marriage of love and honor should be, caring, loving and supportive. I think Baby is the catsomist the way he is, but Meowmie explained to us that Baby's weight could put a strain on his heart. As it is, he can barely jump up. I love him too much to just sit back, when I can do something as his wife, by being a member of his support group - for Baby, and for all the larger kitties like Baby out there.
I know that Baby is never going to weigh 10 pounds. Gee, gosh and golly, he weighed that as a kitten. But if he can get down to 14 pounds, we would be overjoyed. Dr. Smith would be too. I am proud of all the other kitties who joined this group to get help and lose some weight and get healthier. Bravo and Brava to all of miew.
