I have a new website for you to check out. It is Chinese Astrology on Line
It is a wonderful and fun site to visit. You will learn many things there, especially about the new flying stars for the year 2010. Chinese New Year celebration occurs on February 4, 2010.

Don’t forget the older ones such as, Teach Yourself Feng Shui
It has loads of topics and information and of course, the feng shui store. Enjoy.
Don’t forget that we have moved into Period 8. Also, 2010 is the year of the Tiger. I will be updating you when the Chinese 2010 New Year arrives on February 4, 2010. Do yourself a favor and check into feng shui. You can improve some of your luck.

Also, check out Lillian Too’s Feng Shui website at World of Feng Shui and her other website located at Lillian Too.

Be sure to hyperlink on the other topics at this site. You will be so glad that you did because it will help you to understand the new places to “cure”.

You will also want to visit the ritual page at Black Kat Herbals Ms. Wakefield has some wonderful things here for all your ritual needs as well as some very interesting feng shui items. I have done a lot of business with her and can highly recommend her to you.

These and the other ones I list in my Links section are the quintessential feng shui sites, and they are dragon friendly.

Lillian Too’s study of Feng Shui differs from the others that I list, but one should look at all and decide for oneself which best fits their individual preferences. I attended one of her seminars whilst living in South Africa and totally enjoyed it. I also enjoy reading her plethora of books. I have obtained feng shui items from the Feng Shui Megamall and am quite happy with the way they do business and with their products.

Recently, I took an intensive six day seminar presented by Master Yu in Johannesburg, South Africa and appreciate his scientific and pragmatic approach to the science of Feng Shui. I also am impressed by his honesty.

Quite frankly, the only school of Feng Shui I really don’t understand is the Black Hat. This isn’t to say it is wrong. I just can’t wrap the logical part of my brain around its concepts.

I prefer the more scientific approach. Master Yu has a great website where you can chart your Four Pillars of Destiny. He has graciously allowed us to provide it on our own websites. So, if you would like to check it out, please bookmark my page and then visit Master Yu’s site at Four Pillars of Destiny to chart your own. Just a “heads-up” for you folks in the USA. If you read the directions, you will see that you will need to put a minus sign in front of your Longitude number. For example, people born in Peoria, Illinois would be a –40 Longitude. Any Almanac will be able to provide you with your Longitude. Otherwise, I suggest looking it up on a search engine such as, Google.com. Just type in your city of birth and the word, Longitude. You should be able to find it. Enjoy!

Remember, the Chinese New Year in the year 2010 begins in USA on February 4, 2010, and that this is the year of the Tiger.
Chinese New Year celebration (according to the lunar calendar) starts on the second New Moon after the Winter Solstice. However, this is the date you celebrate the Chinese New Year with fireworks etc. and not the date you use to place cures and enhancers in Feng Shui.

The updated information for the year of the Tiger is as follows, and you will find the following information pertinent.

So, until February 4, 2010 and according to Lillian Too, it is most important that you are aware that in the year 2010 until February, 2011, the Grand Duke Jupiter or Tai Sui is in the EAST/NORTHEAST. Avoid staying in the Northeast. The Deadly Five Yellow (The most unlucky of all stars.) is in the SOUTHWEST According to Lillian-Too, This star is the most feared star in the feng shui chart as it brings severe misfortune, tragedy and bad luck. It also brings loss of income and can cause severe health complications. The best way to counter this star is to vacate rooms afflicted by it. Do not play loud music or have the television here. Do not dig in the Southwest of your garden and do not cut down any trees here. She recommends displaying the 5 Element Pagoda Ringing Bell or 5 Element Pagoda Plaque here to remedy. (See her website mentioned above.) The Three Killings is in the NORTH. Avoid sitting with your back facing the NORTH. The Illness Star #2 is in the plagues the NORTHEAST

Here is an interesting article on the Three Killings. The Three Killings by Sallie Tsui Sien.

Please visit the above mentioned websites for explanations regarding the implementation of proper “cures” to alleviate these four “nasties”.

Remember, these are the ANNUAL stars. You still need to consider the FLYING stars. (Please see Flying Star Feng Shui Update above for that information.)

FENG SHUI WORLD is a magazine I receive on a bi-monthly basis. [I am having trouble getting it re-newed!] It is an extremely excellent magazine that I HIGHLY recommend to one and all.

Travel with an open mind to these sites and come back often to see what I have added to my own site. I am going to be adding more intriguing Feng Shui hyperlinks this year. Blessings, Raven...

Meanwhile, why not try this “love bowl” in the Southwestern area of your family room, living room or lounge (or all three). Please keep it out of the bedroom because of the flowers. By the way, feng shui states that flowers in the bedroom, that is, the bedroom where you and your mate, significant other or whatever are sleeping should not have flowers. Also, no mirrors in the bedroom, and if you have a television in your bedroom cover it at night before you go to bed. This bowl represents the elements of Air, Fire, Water, Earth, and Metal. I like to stay with “two’s” as I personally believe adding more than two might cause problems in relationships. Therefore, my bowl contains water (clean), two candles to represent fire (red candles are very auspicious for this use), two rose quartz to represent earth, two metal rings to represent marriage and metal, two flower petals to represent wood. You may be asking where the element of Air is. It is simply transcendental. It’s just “there”. If that isn’t enough for you, light some “love” incense. Keep this perpetually in the SW corner along with other love and relationship enhancing attributes. Light when the mood strikes you. Keep the water clean and filled. If you are using real flower petals, ABSOLUTELY change them when they start to decay. If that is a problem, use silk ones. This type of arrangement is also great to have on your magickal altar (table) during a “love” spell. See my Simple Love Spell. Enjoy. Blessings, Raven.
