The Bachelor V 04/15/04

SPECIAL NOTE: WE APOLOGIZE FOR NOT BEING ABLE TO PUBLISH THIS WEEK’S Q&A AT ITS REGULAR TIME. A.T. HAD A PROFESSIONAL EMERGENCY AND WAS NOT AVAILABLE FOR OUR INTERVIEW UNTIL JUST A LITTLE WHILE AGO.
Q. Well, what did you think of last night’s episode?
A. I am beginning to get bored of seeing someone who “everyone loves to hate” on these series. I just do not know anymore if the producers handpick these people for effect, or they actually sneak past the screening process.
Of course Trish gets the honors for this position, and I am awarding her the “Certificate For the Most Confused” and the “Foot in the mouth Award” since, not only is she terribly confused if she wants to have children or not, during the same weekly episode, but also needs to become a little less arrogant, in my opinion.
Q. You do not believe she is the one going all the way?
A. It is too soon to tell, but I feel she will possibly aggravate most of us to no end, only to be sent home at the last minute. As hypnotized as Jessie seemed to be on their one on one date, he is bound to wake up sooner or later and realize she would not make him happy in the end. He did appear to have some fun in the limo; There was a moment there I thought Trish was going to ravage him in front of the TV cameras……...
Q. Anyone else you feel is on her way out?
A. I know I am taking this series a little too lightly but I honestly can not imagine our boy travelling all the way to Hollywood, to be on The Bachelor, only to end up choosing a cheerleader. There is so much cheering most human beings can take, therefore, I believe Jessie will send Julie home in the next few weeks.
I do not know if you noticed his body language while they were in the water, but it appeared to me he was trying to keep his distance.
Q. What about Jessie?
A. He seems to be doing a good job but, as the saying goes, he needs to ensure brain is engaged before putting mouth in gear. His comments about waking up in front of a stranger might be the type of conversations reserved for the locker room, instead of in front of a group of women, but maybe I am being old fashioned and comments like these are considered “cool” by today’s standards.
I just hope he agreed to be on this show for the right reasons and not to use it as a potential springboard for a Sportscaster career if he is cut from the team.
Q. Anyone else stands out in your mind?
A. It is too soon to tell, and I may change my mind after I see them interacting with each other a little more, therefore I will give you some names next week. Quite honestly, Jessie sent home some women I believed were going to be staying a while longer.
