Dear Adam...

I started seeing this guy Ben at work, and we had a couple of really, really good dates. He told me how much he liked me, and I said that I really liked him too, only I wanted things to move slowly, see him a few more times before we were actually going out.

But then when I went back to work he wasn't anything like he had been before. He was kind of cold, and casual about the whole thing, but he said to ring him about going out. Then he couldn't go and I was gutted, at work I was a bit shitty and then he kind of carried it on towards me.

I am now left feeling very confused and I don't know what to do because I have fallen for him really, really bad! To make it worse I know he did like me too!

This is a tricky situation to be in and I know you probably don't want to be there. My advice to you would be to sit down and talk this through with Ben. Its not going to be easy, not by a long shot.

You need to be honest and tell him how you feel. It might not work out how you want it to either. You need to prepare yourself for a let down.
