The Final Solution

In the 1930s and 40s trees across Europe were avidly persecuted across the continent of Europe by thousands of Nazi storm-troopers.  Adolph Hitler, the chancellor of The Federal Republic of Germany believed that all trees were actually communist spies sent over from the USSR to steal heavily guarded military technology and kidnap vital German scientists.  As part of his infamous "Final Solution" Hitler ordered these innocent trees in to secluded areas known as "forests".  What these trees never knew, was that these forests were actually created for the merciless destruction of their kind.  The pictures shown below are shocking, but serve as a testament of the horrific injustice trees were forced to face during this dark time...

Over 6, 800 trees died during "The Blaze" of February 5th, 1944 shown form the North (Left) and from the South (Below).

This fire, started May 3rd, 1943, lasted 16 days and in its wake it claimed the lives of over 26 thousand individuals.

These pictures, taken two days and six miles apart, are from an area in southern Germany.  It is still unknown how many lives were taken in these fires.
