Another brawl between Soccer Australia and Leeds United has been brewing. The Olyroos were
over in England playing a warm up match against Southhampton. Harry pulled out with Leeds stating that he
had a slight ankle injury. 24 hours later, Harry played a full match. Hmm...
For those interested the Olyroos defeated Southhampton 4-1. Raul Blanco, the Olyroos coach had questions on
Harry's playing career for the Olympic side, but they have been terminated as Kewell is definitely playing for
the Australian side against Brazil in Sydney/Melbourne. *NEWSFLASH* Harry Kewell is not going to marry his girlfriend of one year Sheree Murphy, (she stars Emmerdale), that is one big rumour!

The Sunday telegraph (May 2nd 1999)- "Australian soccer star Harry Kewell
features in a TV interview today from a studio in his hometown of Leeds.
The studio is opposite the main university but Kewell was unaware the
university existed. Most 20 year olds would either be aspiring to go to uni or at least
know where one was, but Kewell, because of his huge soccer talent can
afford to be ignorant.

Harry Kewell appeared with Mark Bosnich on the Channel Nine Footy Show, Thursday 10 June. He reported that he "has not yet signed a contract with Leeds United"...just yet anyway we hope! During the program they had a shoot-out, with Mario Fenech as the goalkeeper. Bosnich scored, but our striker, Mr Kewell's shot got reflected by Mario. Ouch! Harry is happy staying with Leeds but Juventus, the Serie A giants have showed interest in Kewell. For the story, click here.
