Poetry Pie
greetings and salutations fair lady
might i offer thee a cup
love thats bottled
warmth and desire bubbling up
excitement tinged with fear
offerings of romance
a distant dance
showers of flowers
lightning as cupids
arrow straight to the heart
fondness
memories
futures
dreams
a brand new start
lady fair singing my siren song
calling
tugging desperately
my vision blurred
seeking the dangers that drown in that sea
follow my heart
my crying head screams
hoping for anothers dreams
closeness with understanding a futile search
lady fair calls from her dainty perch
lies and deception are all we have known
a truth i say to you will be shown
love is not dead nor is it cold
for these things my soul has been sold
hope you enjoy this poetry pie
it was written on the fly
