I'm glad you asked!

Born and raised western Kansas grrl.
I got my first computer for Christmas '97.
I read the entire help file and everything the computer told me
as I had no experience even powering one up!
In 3 weeks I was in the bios reconfiguring the naughty beast to act as I wished!
Started teching Compaq Computers within 3 months, here in the states,
and moved to Sydney, Australia to be a
Compaq Computer Engineer within 1 year of meeting 'the beast'...
