Welcome!
Hope you enjoy the Blues because the Wichita Blues Society has it!
This page is under construction right now.
If you are from the Wichita area check out KRZZ 96.3 on Sunday mornings and listen to
the President Randy Crump on the Blues Brunch from 9 to noon.
Randy was given an extra hour because of the large amount of requests for more Blues!
The WBS is now implementing a "Blues in the Schools" program thanks to the help of Jim Keefer.
North High School was able to enjoy the history of Blues music
and we hope to extend the invitation to other schools this year too!
We can always use help with our newsletter and you can volunteer for any Blues event by calling

As most of you who frequent this page know by now, at least you do if
you get the WBS newsletter, the editor has resigned from doing the WBS newsletter.
Officially her last newsletter will be October 1998.
Anyone interested in the position can call the Blues line at 945-BLUE.
"It has been a fun two years and I have enjoyed the learning process
as well as meeting the artists I have written about," said Vicki Quade.
Unfortunately complications have made it so that she will not be able to help out after October.
She wishes the new editor good luck!
