Designed in 1971, the J-2 Polonez was similar in configuration to the J-1, but somewhat smaller. It featured a fully cantilever, mid-mounted wing with a NACA 23015 airfoil section, "T" tail, and a single main landing wheel (similar to sailplane practice). It is reported to have first flown at the end of 1977.
