Unusual Pets: Imagers

Karelis has a unique set of creatures that are semi-intelligent and capable of utter devotion, if not true Ra'aling. These creatures are called imagers in whole and communicate with their owners telepathically with pictures.
Imagers will not necessarily stick with their owners and can decide to leave them - though this is not common.
There is a imager for each Realm:

Wyverns

Wyverns are physically just small (small cat-sized) dragons but come in any color and are devoid of magic. Royalty is still black and white with points and it is rare, though the rank of one's imager does not change the rank of oneself.

Phoenixi

Phoenixi are small phoenixes (cat-size or smaller no matter what type of bird they represent). Royalty is the same and they too, are without magic.

Sea Wyverns

Sea wyverns are small serpents (about a foot to two feet long. Same royalty, no magic.

Jeripeds

Jeripeds are small, four-legged carnivores that live naturally in Karelis's tropical areas. They weigh about 15 pounds, and are about the size of a cat. Their lush coat color varies though most are variations on brown with black stripes. They feed upon fish and small rodents and birds but scavenge if the opportunity presents itself. As far as personality, they are typically rather like otters in that they are constantly playing and exploring.
