The Opera House Murders Los Angeles, Tokyopop, 2003. Written by Yoaburo Kanari the storyline features an ingenious killer with a Phantom fixation. The art by Fumiya Sato is better than a lot of the standard manga fare, and shows a great depth of style and emotional range. With a 13 and up rating there is enough meat on the story to entertain die-hard Phantom fans. The original release in Japan was back in 1993, so it is a treat to read in true manga style (with a right-to-left setup reversed order) that is spelled out nicely in an included guide. 230 pages.
