I have decided not to do regular updates for the time being because my involvement with the Louisville Astronomical Society is taking up all of my "astronomy time". These photos were shot during my vacation in June, during which I also attended the 2004 Rocky Mountain Star Stare, one of the premier star parties in the nation, held near Colorado Springs at an altitude of 8500+ feet above sea level.

3/14/04: Join Chris and Karl for an observation at the Bon Air Branch of the Louisville Free Public Library, on Thursday April 1st beginning at 7:30 pm! Weather permitting, we will be looking at the planets Venus, Jupiter, and Saturn, and more. This event is free and open to the public. 11/1/03:Sorry about the lack of updates recently! Don't miss the November 8th Lunar Eclipse! This eclipse will be visible from most of the U.S. The moon enters the Earth's Umbra at 6:30 p.m. E.D.T. (This phase is called Partial Eclipse). The moon begins Total Eclipse at 8:06 p.m. For more info about the eclipse please read Sky and Telescope magazine's Eclipse Article.
