Mission Statement

The Computer Users Division of Kentucky is the first computer users group associated with the National Federation of the Blind in the United States.

The National Federation of the Blind of Kentucky,  Computer Users Division is dedicated to the improvement of blind and visual impaired people in the use of computers and the internet. Our mission is to connect blind and visually impaired people with the technology available through hands on training with our mentors service.

Our mentors volunteers will be available to answer questions on assistive technology or the internet by e-mail. Once you contact your mentor by e-mail you can arrange a meeting in person or over the phone.

Each mentor is listed by region of the state, make sure that you contact someone who is in your part of the state. If you wish to become a National Federation of the Blind of Kentucky Mentor volunteer please contact David Raynes and he will add you to our mentors list. Please be sure to include your specialty and region of the state.
