Eastern Kentucky University coach Chrissy Roberts started the following lineup: 5-10 Sr. Shameekia Murray, 5-10 Jr. Michaela Hunter, 6-1 Sr. Miranda Maples, 5-5 Jr. Mariah Massengill, and 5-8 Jr. Alexus Cooper.  North Carolina State coach Wes Moore countered with 6-1 Jr. Jennifer Mathurin, 5-8 Jr. Dominique Wilson, 6-2 So. Chelsea Nelson, 5-8 Jr. Miah Spencer, and 5-8 Jr. Ashley Williams.

North Carolina State defeated Eastern Kentucky University by a score of 73-62.  North Carolina State shot 40.4% from the field including 10 of 31 from the three point line.  They connected on 17 of 23 free throws, pulled down 51 rebounds, and committed 18 turnovers.  Eastern Kentucky University shot 34.4% from the field including nine of 23 from beyond the arc.  The Colonels connected on nine of 13 free throws, pulled down 28 rebounds, and committed 10 turnovers.

Jennifer Mathurin led North Carolina State with 20 points including four three point baskets and nine rebounds.  Dominique Wilson added 14 points, eight rebounds, and four assists.  Miah Spencer recorded 10 points, seven rebounds, and nine assists.  Ashley Williams chipped in with 10 points and eight rebounds.

6-1 Jr. Jalen O’Bannon led Eastern Kentucky University with 17 points and six rebounds.  5-11 Fr. Abby Wright added 12 points on four three point baskets.  Shameekia Murray also scored 12 points.  Alexus Cooper chipped in with eight points and four rebounds.
