Idaho State University coach Bill Evans started the following lineup: 6-9 So. Stephen Lennox, 6-4 So. Gary Chivichyan, 7-0 So. Novak Topalovic, 5-11 Fr. Brandon Boyd, and 6-3 Jr. Geno Luzcando.  Eastern Kentucky University coach Dan McHale countered with 6-7 Jr. Zach Charles, 6-4 Sr. Jaylen Babb-Harrison, 6-9 So. Nick Mayo, 5-11 Fr. Asante Gist, and 6-2 Sr. Isaac McGlone.

Eastern Kentucky connected on four three point baskets in overtime to defeat Idaho State by a score of 91-82.  The score was tied eight times and there were six lead changes in the game.  Eastern Kentucky University shot 43.3% from the field including 12 of 35 from the three point line.  The Colonels connected on 21 of 25 free throws, pulled down 37 rebounds, and scored 32 points off 30 Idaho State turnovers.  Idaho State shot 50.9% from the field including 12 of 26 from beyond the arc.  They connected on 12 of 20 free throws, pulled down 35 rebounds, and scored 12 points off 21 Eastern Kentucky University turnovers.

Nick Mayo led Eastern Kentucky University with 21 points, 10 rebounds, and four assists.  Jaylen Babb-Harrison added 20 points, seven rebounds, seven assists, and three steals.  6-0 Jr. Dillon Avare recorded 12 points on four three point baskets.  Zach Charles chipped in with 10 points, seven rebounds, and three steals.  Isaac McGlone added nine points including two three point baskets, two assists, and five steals.

Brandon Boyd led Idaho State with 25 points including four three point baskets, and four steals.  Geno Luzcando added 20 points, 11 rebounds, three assists, and seven steals.  Gary Chivichyan added 11 points and Novak Topalovic recorded 10 points and nine rebounds.  6-8 Jr. Robert Jones chipped in with 10 points.
