Franklin County coach Tony Wise started the following lineup: 6-1 So. Kyle Stivers, 6-1 Jr. Walker Lee, 6-5 Sr. Anthony Valentine, 5-8 So. Diablo Stewart, and 5-10 Sr. Ryan Staples.  Pulaski County coach John Fraley countered with 6-4 Jr. Steven Fitzgerald, 6-6 Jr. Danny Butt, 6-0 Jr. Hagan Elmore, 5-7 Fr. Colton Fraley, and 5-9 Sr. Landon Powell.

 

Pulaski County trailed 34-30 at halftime but rallied after the intermission to earn a 73-64 victory over Franklin County.  Pulaski County shot 58.3% from the field in the second half.  There were 12 lead changes and seven ties in this game.  Pulaski County shot 46.4% from the field including nine of 24 from the three point line.  The Maroons connected on 12 of 17 free throws, pulled down 34 rebounds, and scored 15 points off 17 Franklin County turnovers.  Franklin County shot 42.4% from the field including 10 of 22 from beyond the arc.  The Flyers connected on four of nine free throws, pulled down 35 rebounds, and scored seven points off 11 Pulaski County turnovers.

 

Steven Fitzgerald led Pulaski County with 25 points, 12 rebounds, and four assists.  Landon Powell added 21 points including four three point baskets.  Colton Fraley chipped in with 10 points.

 

Diablo Stewart led Franklin County with 25 points including six three point baskets, five rebounds, and six assists.  Kyle Stivers added 19 points including three three point baskets.  Anthony Valentine recorded 13 points, 10 rebounds, and four assists.
