Lafayette coach Allison Denton started the following lineup: 5-10 Jr. Lindi DeBilzan, 5-8 Sr. Caroline Bennett, 5-10 Sr. Tekiya Garr-Carter, 5-7 Sr. Terri Abram, and 5-8 Fr. Rylie Grantz.  Madison Central coach Robert Cooksey countered with 5-7 So. Taleya Todd, 5-7 Sr. Blaze Pacheco, 5-10 So. Je’Kauri McKeithen, 5-5 Sr. Bailey Vanover, and 5-6 Jr. Madison Barnard..

 

Lafayette outscored Madison Central 30-9 in three point points in a 66-53 victory.  There were seven lead changes and four ties in the game.  Lafayette shot 44.7% from the field including 10 of 26 from the three point line.  The Generals connected on 14 of 15 free throws, pulled down 32 rebounds, and scored 16 points off 16 Madison Central turnovers.  Madison Central shot 38.5% from the field including three of 22 from beyond the arc.  The Indians connected on 10 of 17 free throws, pulled down 32 rebounds, and scored 24 points off 16 Lafayette turnovers.

 

Caroline Bennett led Lafayette with 27 points including five three point baskets and 15 rebounds.  Terri Abram added 16 points including 10 of 11 free throws and seven assists.  Lindi DeBilzan recorded 14 points, five rebounds, four assists, three blocked shots, and five steals.

 

Bailey Vanover led Madison Central with 20 points, 10 rebounds, two assists, and four steals.  Je’Kauri McKeithen added 16 points and nine rebounds.
