Madison Central coach Robert Cooksey started the following lineup: 5-7 So. Taleya Todd, 5-7 Sr. Blaze Pacheco, 5-10 So. Je’Kauri McKeithen, 5-5 Sr. Bailey Vanover, and 5-6 Jr. Madison Barnard.  Lexington Catholic coach Scott True countered with 5-8 Jr. Maylo Given, 5-8 Jr. Jay Ballard, 5-10 Sr. Maya Jazdzewski, 5-3 Sr. Olivia Haines, and 5-6 Sr. Ashley Frebis.

Madison Central trailed 35-28 after three quarters but outscored Lexington Catholic 21-9 in the final quarter to earn a 49-44 victory.  There were three ties and three lead changes in this game.  Madison Central shot 43.6% from the field including three of 11 from the three point line.  The Indians connected on 12 of 18 free throws, pulled down 29 rebounds, and scored 21 points off 14 Lexington Catholic turnovers.  Lexington Catholic shot 34.8% from the field including six of 26 from beyond the arc.  The Knights connected on six of 12 free throws, pulled down 28 rebounds, and scored 10 points off 12 Madison Central turnovers.

Je’Kauri McKeithen led Madison Central with 13 points and seven rebounds.  Taleya Todd added 11 points.  Madison Barnard also reached double figures with 10 points.  Bailey Vanover recorded eight points, five rebounds, three assists, and three steals.  Blaze Pacheco pulled down seven rebounds.

Maya Jazdzewski led Lexington Catholic with 12 points, six rebounds, and three assists.  Jay Ballard added 11 points including three three point baskets and three assists.
