Brescia coach Brian Skortz started the following lineup: 6-5 Jr. Kayode Daboiku, 6-4 Sr. Dillon Geralds, 6-7 Sr. Zach McDaniel, 5-10 Sr. Darion Morrow, and 6-1 So. Tristen Murray.  Eastern Kentucky University coach A.W. Hamilton countered with 6-8 Fr. Tre King, 6-2 Fr. Jomaru Brown, 6-9 Sr. Nick Mayo, 5-10 Jr. Dujuanta Weaver, and 6-2 So. JacQuess Hobbs.

 

Eastern Kentucky University scored a school record 145 points in a 145-72 victory over Brescia on the night Nick Mayo was honored for becoming Eastern Kentucky’s all time men basketball’s leading career scorer in an earlier road game.  Eastern Kentucky shot 56.1% from the field including 16 of 41 from the three point line.  The Colonels connected on 19 of 25 free throws, pulled down 48 rebounds, and scored 60 points off 39 Brescia turnovers.  Brescia shot 35% from the field including 10 of 25 from beyond the arc.  The Bearcats connected on 20 of 33 free throws, pulled down 41 rebounds, and scored seven points off 10 Eastern Kentucky University.

 

6-8 Jr. Lachlan Anderson led eight EKU players in double figures with 22 points, 13 rebounds, and three steals.  6-4 Fr. Houston King added 18 points on six three point baskets.  Dujuanta Weaver recorded 17 points including five three point baskets.  Nick Mayo recorded 16 points, six rebounds, and five assists.  6-2 Jr. Kelvin Robinson also scored 16 points and three steals.  6-7 Fr. Pedro Bradshaw added 14 points, nine rebounds, three assists, and four steals.  Tre King also scored 14 points, pulled down six rebounds, and recorded five assists, two blocked shots, and five steals.  Jomaru Brown also reached double figures with 12 points including two three point baskets.

 

Kayode Daboiku led Brescia with 14 points and eight rebounds.  Darion Morrow added 10 points including three three point baskets.  6-0 So. Noah Cunningham recorded 10 points.
