Berea College coach John Hemmenway started the following lineup: 6-5 Jr. Dakota Mays, 5-10 Fr. Brady Whitaker, 6-6 Sr. Jair Jackson, 6-0 Fr. Kevion Hudson, and 6-3 So. Isaac Caudill.  Eastern Kentucky University coach AW Hamilton countered with 6-8 Jr. Darius Hicks, 6-4 So. Houston King, 6-8 So. Tre King, 6-2 So. Jomaru Brown, and 6-3 Sr. Ty Taylor.

 

Eastern Kentucky defeated Berea by a score of 113-63 as the Colonels took 91 shots tonight including 40 three point attempts.  Eastern Kentucky recorded 18 steals, four blocked shots, and scored 50 points off the bench.  Eastern Kentucky shot 45.1% from the field including 16 of 40 from beyond the arc.  The Colonels connected on 15 of 22 free throws, pulled down 57 rebounds, and scored 36 points off 25 Berea turnovers.  Berea shot 32.3% from the field including five of 18 from beyond the arc.  The Mountaineers connected on 16 of 22 free throws, pulled down 43 rebounds, and scored 11 points off nine Eastern Kentucky turnovers.

 

6-9 Sr. Lachlan Anderson led six Colonels in double figures with 19 points including three three point baskets and 11 rebounds.  Jomaru Brown also scored 19 points and recorded four steals.  Ty Taylor recorded 13 points, five rebounds, and three steals.  Houston King chipped in with 12 points including three three point baskets and four steals.  Darius Hicks added 11 points and eight rebounds.  6-7 Fr. Michael Moreno recorded 10 points including two three point baskets.  Tre King tallied eight points, seven rebounds, and two blocked shots. 

 

6-3 Jr. Torell Carter led Berea College with 14 points, seven rebounds, and two blocked shots.  Brady Whitaker added 11 points.  Isaac Caudill recorded eight points and three rebounds.  6-6 So. Andrew Doty added seven points and five rebounds.
