Eastern Kentucky University coach AW Hamilton started the following lineup: 6-7 Fr. Michael Moreno, 6-3 Sr. Ty Taylor, 6-8 Jr. Darius Hicks, 6-2 Jr. Jacquess Hobbs, and 6-2 So. Jomaru Brown.  Louisville coach Chris Mack countered with 6-7 Jr. Jordan Nwora, 6-5 Sr. Dwayne Sutton, 6-10 Sr. Steven Enoch, 6-2 Jr. Darius Perry, and 6-0 Sr. Ryan McMahon.

 

Louisville defeated Eastern Kentucky University by the score of 99-67.  Louisville shot 63% from the field including nine of 19 from the three point line.  The Cardinals connected on 22 of 23 free throws, pulled down 35 rebounds, and scored 34 points off 14 Eastern Kentucky turnovers.  Eastern Kentucky shot 36.5% from the field including nine of 27 from beyond the arc.  The Colonels connected on 12 of 15 free throws, pulled down 24 rebounds, and scored 18 points off 16 Louisville turnovers.

 

Jordan Nwora led Louisville with 26 points including three three point baskets, seven rebounds, and three assists.  Steven Enoch added 23 points and seven rebounds.  Enoch was nine of 10 from the field and five of six from the free throw line.  6-11 Jr.Malik Williams recorded 11 points including two three point baskets and six rebounds.  Dwayne Sutton chipped in with 11 points, five rebounds, and three assists.

 

Ty Taylor led Eastern Kentucky with 13 points including three three point baskets and four rebounds.  6-8 So. Tre King added 12 points including six of six free throws and five rebounds.  Jomaru Brown recorded nine points including two three point baskets and six assists.  Jacquess Hobbs chipped in with nine points.
