i thot id put this song up here, it's one of my very fave celtic songs. it's supposedly a true story, Ned is sposed to be Edmund Ryan, an earl or sumthing fighting the british. there's a warrant for him and he's trying to run away, but they catch him and kill him. in the 3rd version i have, a woman named eileen is mentioned. eileen wasnt a person tho, she represents ireland and how Edmund Ryan fought for her. it's really sad, but it's a beautiful song. newho it has 3 versions of lyrics that i know of so i decided id put all of them up here. enjoy!
