Elmer Huff was born Oct.30,1891,son of Blevins and Mary Elizabeth Fields.He died Dec9,1945.He first married Susie Gay and had Luella in 1909.He Divorced and married Sallie Bailey Nov.11,1917,Daughter of Hiram and Nancy(Begley)Bailey.They had Faye,Ruth,Edward,Estill Lee,Caroline,Omar,Nora,Joan,and Joyce.Elmer was in WW1 with his brothers,Malcolm,and Curtis.He ran a store during the depression,and was Superintendant of schools in Leslie Co., Ky.He also farmed some.Elmer was one of the most respected men in Leslie Co., Ky.
