Paul Dunbar (4-7) vs. Henry Clay (9-1)

Henry Clay finally got on track in the second half to break a scoreless tie and defeat Paul Dunbar 28-0.  Dunbar had 90 yards of total offense in the first half and held Henry Clay to only 71 yards.  However, Henry Clay held a 258 to -7 yard advantage in the second half.  Ryan Phillippi keyed the offense in the second half with a TD run and two TD passes.  Dunbar's defense had six consecutive shutout quarters before the Blue Devils rolled up 21 points in the third quarter.

Henry Clay recorded 11 first downs and 329 yards of total offense.  The Blue Devils were penalized six times for 39 yards and didn't suffer any turnovers.  Paul Dunbar had seven first downs and 81 yards of total offense.  The Bulldogs were penalized seven times for 55 yards, lost a fumble, and had two passes intercepted.

Dontey Gay led Henry Clay's ground game with 103 yards and a touchdown on seven carries.  Ryan Phillippi carried the ball 13 times for 60 yards and a TD.  Phillippi completed nine of 12 passes for 111 yards and two touchdowns.  Jacob Bell led the defense with three solo and six assisted tackles and added one interception.  Mike Federspiel recorded four solo and three assisted tackles.  Three of his tackles resulted in losses totalling seven yards.

Jerrell Greene led the Dunbar ground game with 70 yards on 18 carries.  Marquis Clay completed two of nine passes for nine yards with two interceptions.  Greene caught two passes for nine yards.  Nick Edelstein led the Bulldog defense with six solo and one assisted tackles.  Steve Matthews added five solo and one assisted tackles.
