Claes(pronounced CLAUSS)Oldenburg and Coosje van Bruggen, are the all American sculptors.
Their subjects are giant everyday objects- typewriter erasers, ink stamps, baseball bats, and toothpaste-either blown up to massive size
or made soft and useless. Claes was from Sweden, Coosje from the Netherlands, but now this husband an wife team live in the U.S.
