A non-profit corporation serving Western Kentucky and Southern Indiana.

The Ohio County Equestrian, Inc. program has proven highly successful in helping people with a wide range of disabilities to achieve their therapeutic goals, and has brought happiness to not only our children but to other children and adults in surrounding counties over the past seven years.  We incorporated as a non-profit program on July 1, 1998 and are now able to include persons with physical disabilities.  It is our belief that services to a disabled individual should be free of charge.  The expenses for operating a non-profit program will run around $500 per month for fee, $50 for utilities and $25 for travel expenses to and from competitions.

Until entering this program some have never been able to achieve or accomplish any type of goal on their own.  Riding and being able to be in control gives them a sense of responsibility and adds to their self-esteem.  The smiles are enough to make this program worth the effort.

Without contributions or funding we couldn't make this program possible.
